Oyo State Gaming Board (OYSGB) hereby announces the appointment of Mr. Olajide Boladuro as the Director General and Chairman of the Board by His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde. In his position as DG, Mr. Boladuro will be responsible for overseeing the general affairs of the Board while providing strategic and managerial leadership to deliver on the formulation and implementation of the Board’s  mandate and strengthening partnerships with key external actors in the gaming regulatory ecosystem.

Mr. Olajide Boladuro is a dynamic and innovative high profile management specialist who has over 22 years of proven expertise in organizational leadership, business and project management, business development, information technology and revenue growth

Prior to his appointment as the Director General Oyo State Gaming Board (OYSGB), Mr. Olajide Boladuro served as a resource person/consultant with Georgia Lottery Corporation, Atlanta Georgia U.S.A where he played a vital role in increasing revenue generation and regulatory compliance of the Corporation. Under his guidance, he ensured that projects did not only comply with legislative requirements, but were commercially successful.

Mr. Boladuro is an Alumnus of Ogun State University (presently Olabisi Onabanjo University) with a B.A degree in Philosophy and a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). He also attended a short executive management diploma program at Kennesaw State University, USA.

As the DG of OYSGB, Mr. Boladuro aims to position the Board as one of the leading gaming regulatory agency in Nigeria and Africa. This transformation will be underpinned by cutting edge innovative solutions towards achieving  a robust regulatory compliance, enhance revenue generation, improved service delivery and sustaining a conductive and competitive level playing field for licensed operators towards making OYSGB a pace setter in the gaming and lottery industry in Nigeria and Africa at large.
